Mahmud Kasim
Despite his rather modest stature—he stood 162 cm tall and weighed approximately 63 kg—he went down in history as one of the most remarkable strongmen of the last century. His feats included the following:
— Grinstein hammered nails into a board with his bare fist;
— lying on a bed of nails, points up, while supporting a 14-piece orchestra on his chest;
— changing car tires without any tools;
— straining his chest, he broke three metal chains at a time;
— bending a metal rod or horseshoe by gripping one end with his teeth while the other was secured in a vice;
— biting through a nail halfway and biting through coins;
— moving an airplane using his own hair. This stunt was performed at the Buffalo airport and was described in the Buffalo Evening Times newspaper on September 29, 1928. Source: Bogatyr.
